Lost & Found

Year: 2018

Material:  found objects

There are several ways to look at a city. The urban landscape can be regarded as a complex, vast and interactive system.

I wander around in that system while I collect elements from it. In the series LOST & FOUND, daily objects come together in a collection, which I try to integrate into the exhibition space. In this way I created a composed image of the city (Paris) the way I experienced it.

Titles sculptures: Half Rocks, Missing Socks, Hanging, Showerthoughts, Tapiplein, Parisian Square, Blue Marble, Mental Health.

Picture: Half Rocks, Missing Socks consist out of a washrack (found on the street in front of a hotel), lost socks (found in the laundry saloon) and half rocks (found in a garden).
