What if a hole becomes a hill?
Installation of 2 plaster sculptures, a dia-projection and a silk screen print on a mirror
A hole is filled up with plaster and turned the other way around. By reversing the hole, a mountain emerges. The sculpture(s) become a representation of something that used to be, a memory. The void stands for both a positive and a negative shape or form. They hide a (hi)story, the shape of the sculptures that come out of the holes is the result of chance, time and wear.
